School District of Washington (SDOW) is one of the largest public school districts in the state covering three different counties: Franklin, St. Charles and Warren. They serve over 3,400 students throughout their district boundaries.
Their K-12 educational program features one high school, one middle school, and seven elementary schools. The SDOW also has the
Early Learning Center which serves as a preschool and early childhood education facility. It offers programs for children ages 3 to 5, emphasizing social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development. In addition to K-12 education, the SDOW also hosts the
Four Rivers Career Center, a technical and trade school for students in the district and surrounding areas.
