The City of Washington owns and operates a rail spur called the "Team Track Facility" located at 2010 West Main Street within the John H. Feltmann Industrial Park. The facility allows public access to ship and receive goods via rail on the Union Pacific Railroad.
The City received grants through the Missouri Department of Economic Development CDBG program and through the Economic Development Administration for the construction.

The Missouri Eastern Railroad owned by
Jaguar Transportation Holdings is a shortline railroad that runs from St. Louis, MO to Union, MO. The railroad has access to six (6) Class 1 railroads that include BNSF, UP, CSX, NS, CN, and KCS. In addition to our rail service, we also offer trans-loading services with the capability to transload commodities from rail cars or trucks. We also can offer logistic solutions that range from industrial development, rail car storage, laydown space, trucking, and warehouse space along our rail line.
